A Short History of Cherry’s Industrial Equipment

Cherry’s Industrial Equipment was founded in 1983 when entrepreneur Bud Cherry introduced the standalone 180° pallet inverter to the U.S., which was developed to turn over pallets and recover dry stock such as fertilizer. The pallet inverter took off and became a necessity in the material handling industry, and Cherry’s Industrial became the trusted source of pallet inverter solutions for easy pallet exchange throughout the 1980s.

With Cherry’s Industrial’s considerable expertise in the material handling field, our product line soon expanded beyond the pallet inverter to include other successful solutions for manufacturing companies’ unique needs. These solutions included plastic pallets for the food handling industry in 1985, plastic freezer spacers in 1992, highly engineered inline systems in 1998 and ground-level pallet and container dispensers in 2004, as well as an extensive product line that continues to grow today.

Cherry’s Industrial experienced booming success and grew to offer maintenance, services and installation across the U.S. through a nationwide technician network in 2013.

Today, we have sold over 3,000 machines to companies in numerous manufacturing fields across the world.
