Time is of the essence when preparing meat, poultry and other products for frozen food shipment. It’s important to freeze products as quickly as possible to preserve flavor, avoid ice crystallization, and save on energy costs. And the sooner the product is frozen, the sooner the next pallet can be accommodated. Prior to stretch wrapping and shipping, every plastic freezer spacer resting in between each layer must be removed. The PSR Inline System eliminates the need for manually hand stacking boxes on separate pallets to retrieve freezer spacers. The staged pallet load goes into the PSR; the load is then tipped on its side. With one operator, the PSR Inline system will allow quick, safe and easy recovery of freezer spacers. Once completed, the pallets continue downstream through the Inline Stretch Wrapper, and all staging and exit conveyor movements accomplished automatically.
